The Canary Islands add almost 300 migrants in the last 24 hoursin a constant influx of cayucos towards the coasts of the islands. Between Monday and Tuesday morning, four canoes with at least 15 minors were rescued in El Hierro and Tenerife.

On Monday he opened the Canary Islands route with a boat that arrived in Tenerife around 3:13 a.m. accompanied by the sea rescuer Alpheratz with 42 people of sub-Saharan origin, among whom were three minors.

In the morning, a cayuco located south of El Hierro arrived with 76 people on board, including two minors, who were joined by the 110 occupants rescued around 10 p.m., with around ten minors on board.

Already around 10 p.m., the fourth cayuco of the day was located, assisted by the maritime guard Talía after being seen by a sailboat about 90 kilometers from the coast, with 71 people on board, according to the initial count.
