Baku TV prepared a report about Shamil Babayev, who was martyred on the day of the liberation of Shusha during the Patriotic War.
The martyr’s father, Baloglan Babayev, spoke about his son’s patriotism and noted that Shamil had a great interest in the army.
“The comrades, speaking about my son’s bravery, said that if it were not for Shamil, perhaps we would not exist.
33 people were awarded the order “Victory”. One of them was my son,” he said.
Yusif Babayev, son of Shamil Babayev, said that he never cried because his father was a martyr, he was proud of him.
“We slept together at night. When I got up in the morning, I saw that my father was not with me,” said the martyr’s son while talking about his father’s departure to the front.
