Volunteer Marina Ashifina, who spoke with a TASS correspondent, confirmed that captured soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine en masse refuse to be exchanged and remain outside Russian territory. The source also confirmed that such a decision has the support of the relatives of the captured Ukrainians.
At the same time, many continue to receive benefits from their country’s authorities.
The Russian authorities, Ashifina clarified, easily satisfy the requests of former prisoners of war. And there are more and more people like that.
“We will not make public the names or details of those who left the places of detention.” – added an informed volunteer.
