Isn’t that millions of assets enough for the tax? The luxury hotel in Carmen, 59, and Robert Geiss, 61, on the French Côte d’Azur must be auctioned. As “Business Insider” reports, Four-Star House “Maison Prestige Roberto Geissini” comes in Saint-Tropez Bay in the bay on April 25, 2025. The starting price is therefore 1.5 million euros.
Do Carmen and Robert Geiss have millions in millions?
According to “Business Insider”, the background is in the millions that the French state demands from Geissens – or as Robert Geiss describes it compared to the “picture”: “Like many other property owners in France as well as excessive demands on the French authorities are affected and have fought for our law for years.” He confirmed the impending auction to the German newspaper.
According to “Business Insider”, the requirements come from 2010 to 2022 and are addressed to a Robert Geiss company registered in Luxembourg. Authorities accuse Geissens of teasing tax benefits with their property in the 4,000 inhabitant: Interior Community Grimaud, who does not have them.
Geissens hotel was opened in 2015
The family has had the property since 2008. In France, there is the possibility of receiving tax cuts for similar real estate transactions – provided the acquired object will be sold again after five years. Because no one bought the property, the Geissens hotel opened there in 2015 with four villas, three pools and 16 rooms.
“The picture” Robert Geiss confirmed that he had appealed against the forced auction and was “very confident” that it can be averted.
Instagram account provides normal operation
Despite the impending shielding, the hotel’s Instagram account does not give any indication of tax debt. Instead, pictures of the property, luxurious rooms and pool landscape will continue to be sent there. A few days ago it was said “Coundown is going – see you on Friday”. Yesterday, Friday, March 29, the start of the 2025 season was celebrated with champagne.
