The mayor of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Carolina Darias, reported this Tuesday to the National Police the “identity theft” of her identity on social networks and the instant messaging network Whatsapp, as reported by her official X channel.
“Given the identity theft of my profiles on social networks and WhatsApp, I filed a complaint with the National Police.”
Darias asked the population to “ignore any suspicious messages/posts” that could be published from these “fake” accounts pretending to be her.
He also took the opportunity to recall his official accounts on the various social networks (Facebook, Instagram and X).
