The Vice-President of the Council recalls that “they are all already” in the Community and that they are “supported and cared for”.
The vice-president of the Board of Directors and advisor for Family and Equal Opportunities, Isabelle Blancodemanded from the Spanish government the funding committed for the reception of 21 migrant minors in Castilla y León resulting from the migration crisis experienced this summer in the Canary Islands.

In addition, Blanco also asked the Spanish government “a migration policy” which includes “measures at the origin” and “for Europe to act”then asking the Sánchez executive to “request help from Frontex for border control, because we are the gateway.”
He also demanded “resources” from the government and that the president, Pedro Sanchez“calling a Conference of Presidents which is delayed in time, it was supposed to take place in September and now it seems that it will be in December, to discuss financing, housing and the immigration crisis”. “These are the measures that the Government must adopt,” concluded Blanco.
