The Generalitat of Catalonia restricted mobility and suspended classes this Wednesday in five southern regions due to forecasts of torrential rain. The regions affected are Tarragonès, Montsià, Baix Ebre, Ribera d’Ebre and Baix Camp, where the Government will send an alert to all phones to warn of the restrictions, which will last from six in the morning to noon in the morning.
This was announced by the Minister of the Interior, Núria Parlon, after the meeting of the emergency group, during which measures were agreed regarding the DANA which currently affects Catalonia.
Likewise, Civil Protection has activated the Inuncat plan alert due to the forecast of precipitation. In the afternoon of this Tuesday, while some rain has already fallen, the alert remains at orange level across the entire coast.
