The operation of the grill located in the Narimanov district of Baku is restricted.
Oku.Az reports that the Food Safety Agency (AQTA) published information in this regard.
It was noted that, according to the video published in the media, the public catering establishment “Zulfu Ustanin Döner”, located at 132 Heydarov Street in the city of Baku, Narimanov District, owned by the private individual Zulfu Rashid oglu Valiyev, was not registered for food safety during the unscheduled inspection by AQTA employees and a number of serious deficiencies were discovered.
Likewise, various insects and a pet (cat) were observed in the feeding establishment.
During the inspection, it was found that the facility did not use closed, odorless waste containers, the integrity of the ceiling in the processing area was violated, the walls were not covered with hygienic material, personnel were not subjected to initial testing, and regular medical examinations, proper uniforms and personal protective equipment were not provided, food products and equipment were not provided, lack of basin for washing, storage of cleaning inventory and detergents, as well as lack of a separate area for employees, lack of Installation of the ventilation system, lack of insulation of sewer lines and other defects were identified. Samples of ready-to-eat foods (chicken döner, potato cake) were taken and sent to the corresponding laboratory of the Food Safety Institute for the purpose of inspections.
In this regard, in accordance with the legislation, it was decided to apply restrictive measures to stop work and the provision of services in the company and an administrative protocol on its management was drawn up.
