The Moscow prosecutor’s office has brought a criminal case to court against the general director of the Russian shoe company Ralf Ringer, Andrei Berezhny, and his accomplice in the case of tax evasion of more than 588 million rubles, the press service reports. from the capital’s supervisory agency reports.
According to the department, the defendants, using the details and current account data of 14 affiliated organizations, used the controlled Promsnabpostavka LLC to include false information in their tax returns about existing relations with this company. As a result, Ralf Ringer “did not pay value added taxes during the period 2015-2017 for a total amount of more than 588 million rubles.”
The criminal case was transferred to the Ostankino district court.
“The Moscow City Prosecutor’s Office approved an indictment in a criminal case against the 50-year-old general directors of Ralph Ringer JSC and Promsnabpostavka LLC. Depending on the role and degree of participation in the crimes committed, they are charged under paragraph “b” of Part 2 of Art. 199 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (tax evasion), part 5 of art. 33, paragraph “b”, part 2, art. 199 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (assistance in tax evasion), the report says.
To secure the claim, the court seized the defendant’s funds in current accounts, real estate, company funds and controlled organizations in the amount of arrears.
