The charges against famous actor Alec Baldwin in connection with the death of cameraman Galina Hutchins during the filming of the movie “Rust” in the United States may reportedly be reinstated.
Oku.Az“The Washington Times” reported on this.
According to the report, special prosecutor Kari Morrissey has asked the actor to reconsider the decision to drop the charge of “negligent homicide.”
According to Morrissey, there were insufficient facts to support the July decision to drop the charges against the actor. He also said Baldwin’s rights were not violated.
It should be recalled that the case against Baldwin was closed on the grounds that the police and the prosecution withheld evidence related to this case from the defense. The evidence that led to the case being closed was ammunition brought to the sheriff’s office. The person who brought it said that the ammunition may be related to the murder of Hutchins. Prosecutors considered the ammunition to be unrelated and insignificant. Baldwin’s attorneys claimed that this evidence was withheld and filed a motion to dismiss the case. The judge granted their request.
