Charles III progressing ‘very well’ in his cancer treatment, says Queen Camilla

He King Charles III of the United Kingdom She is progressing “very well” in her cancer treatment, Queen Camilla said on Monday.

A social worker asked the monarch’s wife about the progress of Charles III’s illness at the official opening of a new cancer treatment centre in Bath, southwest England. To the question: “Is he okay??, Camila replied: “Yes, he is doing very well.“.

Queen Camilla visited the new Dyson Cancer Centre, part of the British National Health Service (NHS), and met with families and staff at the institution, which has been treating more than 300 patients a day since April and has radiotherapy, chemotherapy and a research centre.

“I congratulate you on this wonderful centre. There is a very welcoming atmosphere and you can see how people’s spirits are lifted in very difficult times,” Camila said after unveiling a commemorative plaque in honour of her visit.

Charles III, 75 years old, announced his cancer diagnosis on February 6 and has postponed all public engagements, although he has continued to carry out his duties as head of state in private. However, it has not been revealed what type of cancer he is dealing with.

In March, the Princess of Wales also revealed in a video that she was in the “early stages” of chemotherapy treatment after being diagnosed with cancer and undergoing abdominal surgery in January.

A month later, the British monarch resumed her public schedule with a visit to another cancer treatment center in London, and Catherine reappeared for the first time on June 15, at the royal’s official birthday celebration, known as “Trooping the Colour.”
