In a few hours this Saturday, a moving truck was filled with basic necessities bound for Valencia, 8,000 kilos of basic necessities that the inhabitants of Valladolid transported throughout the day to civic centers organized to channel this aid. Given the large influx, the Town Hall has decided to increase the collection points for collecting materials and from this Monday these donations can be delivered to eight offices in different districts of the city.
Concretely, this Sunday, the civic centers of Delicias and José Luis Mosquera -from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.- and that of Campillo -from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.-.
Starting tomorrow Monday, three more civic centers will be added to these points (Parquesol, Rondilla and José María Luelmo) and will be open until Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. pm Furthermore, in the markets Two other collection points in Las Delicias and del Val will operate in this case only in the morning. In both cases, the corresponding areas authorized for this purpose will be indicated, explains the Town Hall.
The Town Hall requests compliance with the products required by the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces: water, milk, non-perishable food productspersonal and household cleaning items, diapers and sanitary napkins.
Outside the capital, there are also many town halls to which neighbors have contacted to bring equipment. To facilitate operation, the Provincial Delegation of Valladolid asked the town halls to collect donations and the institution provincial will be responsible for transporting them to a warehouse donated altruistically by a company in the industrial zone of San Cristóbal. After the corresponding classification and as the corresponding loadings are completed, the aid will be transferred to Valencia through two trailer trucks also provided by a businessman from the province.
Additionally, other entities raise funds like Real Valladolid, which has opened two channels via transfer or payment by credit card on its website.
