He Ricardo Temiño, chief of Burgos, owner of La Fábrica and the recently opened Bocaccio’70, was awarded a Michelin star during the gala organized this evening in Murcia during which the chef from Avila Carlos Casillas, who in the last edition obtained the Michelin star for Barro, received the Young Chef award.
During the gala, prizes were also awarded to Arzuaga workshop, in Quintanilla de Onísimo (Valladolid) with a “green star”. This distinction, which appeared in 2020, rewards establishments which are at the forefront in terms of the most sustainable practices. This year, nine restaurants have joined this exclusive selection, bringing the total number of green stars in Spain to 57.
With Ricardo Temiño, andIn Castile and León there are now 19 restaurants that maintain a Michelin star.
