“At COP29, we need to do comprehensive work on climate change.”
This was reported by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and chief negotiator of COP29, Yalchin Rafiyev, at the press conference held on the second day of the event.
According to him, the first day of COP29 was completed successfully:
“At the Climate Summit, opening today, world leaders will express their views and hold discussions on the climate crisis.”
The Vice Minister reported that proposals to strengthen climate financing will be presented at the Conference of the Parties:
“We all need strength here. Everyone should work to contribute to our global efforts.”
