Psychic, psychotherapist and hypnotist Anatoly Kashpirovsky, who gained popularity in the USSR, will be examined for fraud and tax evasion. Activists of the Sorok Sorokov human rights center have sent a corresponding appeal to the chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia Alexander Bastrykin, the Shot telegram channel reports.
“Activists are concerned that older people, who dream of curing their illnesses, are turning to sessions with “psychics” and instead of doctors, entrusting their health to a witch doctor,” – says the publication.
The question of possible tax evasion arose due to the strange scheme of payment for the services of a multidisciplinary doctor. Thus, when participating in so-called “creative meetings”, guests are offered to donate arbitrary amounts ranging from 3.5 thousand to 9 thousand rubles. For Kashpirovsky’s products, for example, magic salt, you can transfer money directly to your personal card.

It was claimed that during four sessions in Moscow, 85-year-old Kashpirovsky earned 6 million uncounted rubles.
