He Los Llanos Cultural Space Next Sunday, October 6th, hosts the show Children’s theater ‘Like a fish’of the company Producciones Maestros. The work is aimed at a public between 4 and 10 years oldis in Spanish and addresses an everyday and often stigmatized topic, such as cognitive deterioration in the elderly. The price is 5 euros.
“Like a Fish” focuses on martial figurewho has always loved fishing, spending hours and hours in his little boat enjoying the tranquility. But lately it seems like the fish are avoiding him, maybe he’s a little confused.
Marcial likes to remember the time when he was a lifeguard, his music box, looking like a child… but he notices that something is changing. He no longer feels safe on the street, he no longer knows where he leaves his things, or if he has come or gone. He doesn’t remember the details of his daily gift.
ALZHEIMER’S PRE-PERFORMANCE WORKSHOP
Before the performance, on October 1st at 7:30 p.m., a workshop will take place at the Maison de la Culture under the title ‘Like a Fish: How to Talk to Little Ones About Alzheimer’s Disease.
This is a workshop intended for adults who want to approach the The Alzheimer’s problem with younger children based on the theatrical performance. To do this, an analysis of the theatrical production will be carried out and tools will be provided to promote dialogue on such a current and complex subject.
The workshop will be given by an AFAN professional (Association of relatives of people with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias of Navarre) and Ana Maestrojuán (author and director of “Like a Fish”).
