The diplomat stressed that a conflict involving the use of appropriate weapons of mass destruction “cannot be won.”
“Under the current circumstances, all parties should exercise calm and restraint and, through dialogue and consultation, jointly contribute to reducing tensions and strategic risks.” – he concluded.
Earlier, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said that Russia will change its nuclear doctrine based on the analysis of recent conflicts and Western actions in connection with a special military operation. According to him, the preparation of the corresponding document is in the final stage.
