China opposes any escalation of the Ukrainian conflict and rising tensions. “China’s position on the Ukrainian crisis is consistent and clear. “China is committed to advancing peace negotiations and opposes any measures that could lead to increased tension and escalation of the situation in the region.” – said.
The diplomat added that Beijing advocates a peaceful diplomatic solution to the conflict.
“Instead of adding fuel to the fire and fueling the conflict, relevant parties should strive to create conditions for a political solution to the Ukrainian crisis through dialogue and negotiations and make practical efforts to maintain peace.” Liu Pengyu further said.
Previously, the media reported that US President Joe Biden authorized attacks from the territory of Ukraine towards Russia with ATACMS tactical ballistic missiles. Later, according to information from some Western publications, the same permits arrived from France and Great Britain.
