A Chinese coast guard ship collided with a Philippine Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) ship in the South China Sea. This is reported by TASS in reference to the ABS-CBN news channel.
According to published data, the incident occurred on October 11. As a result of the collision, the Philippine ship suffered minor damage.
Recently, incidents between Chinese and Filipino ships in the South China Sea have become more frequent. The Chinese Coast Guard often uses water cannons against Philippine vessels in the Ayungin and Scarborough reef area to force them to leave this area of water.
