Moldovan authorities have condemned the participation of Russian ambassador Oleg Vasnetsov in the celebration of the 34th anniversary of Transnistria’s independence. Chisinau announced this today, September 3, stressing that “this is not the first time that the heads of the diplomatic mission of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Moldova, as well as other officials from Moscow, have participated in such events.”
“This is a repeated and harmful practice which, unfortunately, only complicates the process of negotiations to resolve the Transnistrian issue.” – said the press secretary of the so-called Reintegration Policy Office. Mariana Sara.
