The purchase price of the property is 18 million euros. Additionally, the United States will reimburse up to €7.5 million in costs associated with transferring freehold title to the land, including payments associated with expropriation and site clearance of any structures.
The new building of the American diplomatic mission will occupy about 5.2 hectares.
