Chronicle from West Azerbaijan: “I found my four-year-old son in Kazakhstan after three hours”

Today, the next edition of the “Life Story” program by journalist Asgar Ibrahimov was prepared on Baku TV as part of the Chronicle of Western Azerbaijan project.

Oku.Az The program “Armenian atrocities began 4-5 months after the wedding” is dedicated to the life story of Kifayat Ibrahimova, a resident of the village of Hallavar, Beyuk Garakilisa district, Pambak district.

She said that her childhood years were enjoyable in the village surrounded by mountains, forests and beautiful ice springs, and during her high school years she picked flowers from the mountains and tied wreaths for teachers: “We had cultural clubs. Our music teacher took us to the music club, where we played music. We used to have sports lessons at school. We used to pick fruits from the gardens in the fall and play snowballs in the winter.

According to him, in 1986 his uncle took him to the city of Tashkent to receive higher education, and after his brother did his military service, he returned to his native village: “After returning to Hallavar, I got married in 1987. 4-5 months after my wedding, the atrocities of the Armenian fascists began, then they persecuted our nation, they wanted to take us out of the village, they killed us, we did not have a single night, until November 27, 1988. A special helicopter was separated from us, the Armenians from Archud, Gursali, Saral deceived, robbed, robbed and killed the population.

A resident of Hallavar said that our intellectuals living in Baku had sent people by helicopter to the village: “The helicopters arrived at the end of November, they did not land, they were afraid that the Armenians would take aim. Now I remember those moments, I feel very bad. They did not close our babies, mothers, grandmothers, patients. They took my 4 and a half month old son Famil from my sister-in-law’s arms and threw me into the helicopter.

The helicopter took off, I stayed there. Three hours later another helicopter arrived. They put me in that and took us to Gazag and placed us in a children’s home. When we left the cafe, the ground shook. There was a magnitude 9 earthquake in Armenia. At that time my sister and I arrived in Agstafa. After two or three days, my wife, our son-in-law, my father-in-law’s sister and my sisters-in-law came with our car. When they arrived, they said that the village had been sunk by an earthquake. The hands of the Armenians got involved and we left.”

K. Ibrahimova said that she has not yet forgotten the fascism of the Armenians and that she lives with longing for her homeland: “As much as I love my mother and father, my homeland is even dearer to me. The way I suffer after losing my mother and father, I suffer the same way without my homeland. In my memories, in those hands in front of my eyes, I live in those villages. I hope that soon we will return to our homeland and live in those places.”

It should be recalled that the aim of the Western Azerbaijan Chronicle project is to preserve and popularize the name of our historical and ancient lands, as well as the deportation of Azerbaijanis by Armenians, toponyms that existed in those territories, but their names have been erased, countless examples of underground and surface material culture are revealed: ancient settlements, necropolises, mounds, remains of castles, palaces and fortifications, caravansaries, bridges, burial chests, tombstones, statues of horses and rams, temples, churches, mosques, pyres and hearths, and facts confirming that the area is a pure Oghuz-Turk settlement are brought to the attention of the world community.

Also the president Ilham Aliyev“The map dating from the beginning of the 20th century once again shows that West Azerbaijan is the historical land of Azerbaijan, the names of cities and villages are of Azerbaijani origin, and we know very well that the Azerbaijani people have lived on the territory of present-day Armenia throughout history. Now the main task is to make the world community aware of this as well,” he said, in his opinion, promoting the duties arising from the Concept of Return developed by the West Azerbaijani Community.

It also aims to enlighten the thoughts of historians and researchers about West Azerbaijan and the life stories of people who were deported.
