CIA agent arrested in Cambodia for leaking documents on Israel’s plans to respond to Iran

He FBI arrested Tuesday in Cambodia a CIA agent who is accused of disclose secret documents on Israel’s plans to attack Iran, according to American media this Wednesday.

The one who is arrested, Asif W. Rahman, He was transferred to Guam, a Pacific island under US sovereignty, to appear in court on Thursday.

Rahman was charged last week in Virginia federal court with the crimes of retaining and intentional disclosure of national defense information.

According to the Justice Department, the CIA employee disclosed classified documents about plans made by Israel to respond to Iran after the October 1 missile attack.

The documents in question belonged to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency of the Pentagonwhich analyzes images obtained by American spy satellites.

The documents started circulating a month ago via the messaging application Telegram.
