CIA data ‘leak’ on Israel’s attack on Iran

The United States is about to try a CIA agent who influenced Israel’s decision to delay the attack on Iran. The agent, Asif Rahman, was detained in Cambodia on charges of leaking classified satellite surveillance documents that revealed details of a planned Israeli operation against Iran.

This was reported by The New York Times.

Rahman was brought to Guam after a federal court in Virginia found him guilty of transmitting classified intelligence information.

As is known, Asif Rahman, being a foreign CIA agent, had access to classified data, including images from American reconnaissance satellites. He posted these documents on the Telegram app, which documented the IDF’s preparations for a possible attack on Iran.

However, the published materials did not indicate what forces would be used or reveal the date of the attack. As a result, Israel was forced to postpone its attack on Iran in order to make changes to its military plans.

Previously, Kursor wrote that a source in the White House confirmed to CNN that the Pentagon documents containing secret information about Israel’s plans to retaliate against Iran and published on one of the Telegram channels are genuine.

Access to these documents was quite broad and included the intelligence services of the United States’ closest military partners, including the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and New Zealand.

Additionally, Cursor already reported that Benny Sabti, an Iran specialist at the Institute for National Security Studies (INSS), commented on Iran’s threats against Israel, noting that Iran missed the opportunity to carry out an attack before the US elections. .
