Citizens of 12 countries died as a result of flooding that occurred in the autonomous community of Valencia, in eastern Spain, at the end of October.

In the press release shared by the Central Court of Valencia on account “X”, it is noted that the analysis of the remains of 216 people who died as a result of the natural disaster was carried out. About half of them are reported to be people over 70 years old.
In addition to Spanish citizens, among the dead are 26 foreigners from 11 other countries. Among the victims of the natural disaster are nine people from Romania, four from China, four from Morocco and two from Great Britain. Additionally, among the dead were citizens of Venezuela, Colombia, the Netherlands, Paraguay, Tunisia, Ukraine and Ecuador.
