A citizen of Ukraine and Tajikistan has been charged in Poland for a shooting that took place in early September at Warsaw’s Olympia Market.
The incident occurred in early September while police were patrolling the oldest market in the Polish capital, the Olympia Bazaar, located on Gorshevskaya Street.
“At one point, when the police were preparing to identify the man, they were shot. The criminals fled in an unknown direction. From that moment on, the police carried out an intensive search for them.” — the police told the Onet portal.
As a result, law enforcement officers first detained a 45-year-old man and, a few days later, a 38-year-old man. Both are foreigners, the first is a citizen of Ukraine and the second of Tajikistan. The suspects have been accused of actively assaulting officers with a firearm. Foreigners face up to 10 years in prison.
