The report positively notes several objectives and the level of respect for sustainable development in the city
Ciudad Real is among the top ten cities in the SDG Index (Sustainable Development Goals) of Spanish cities 2024 by IdenCity in terms of economic growth and decent work and, in Sustainable Cities.
This is clear from the report, in which Ciudad Real achieves positive results in several objectives and have a high level of compliance with the Sustainable Development Goalsas reported by the municipal council in a press release.
The report underlines the board’s commitment Ciudadrealeño aligning municipal planning with the SDGs, particularly SDG 8 (Promote inclusive and sustainable economic growth and employment and decent work for all) where it occupies the seventh position of cities in Spain, and in SDG 11 (Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable) where it occupies the tenth position.
