Civil Guard rescues 8-year-old boy after being attacked by viper during school trip

This week the Civil Guard rescued an 8-year-old minor after being attacked by a snake during a school trip. The accident occurred last Tuesday, October 1, around 1:40 p.m., at the Estós refuge (Benasque).

The snake attacked the little boy while he was hiking nearby. After receiving the kiss, the minor began to have vomiting and presented inflammation on the damaged hand.

Once notice is received at Central 062 of the Civil Guard of Huesca, the body began its evacuation and later transfer by plane to San Jorge Hospital, in Huesca. For this, the Greim Benasque, the Huesca Air Unit and 061 health workers were activated.
