Representatives of several civil servant union organizations called rallies on December 11 to demand that the government launch a new call for tenders for Muface and that civil liability insurers be signed “as soon as possible” to guarantee the continuity of the health agreement. .

This is what the CCOO, UGT, ANPE, UFP, USIE and Adide unions reported this Friday during a press conference in Madrid, where they announced that these mobilizations would be convened both in Madrid and in all provincial capitals of Spain.

As detailed by the union organizations, the mobilization campaign will begin on December 11 with a rally in the morning and afternoon. In the morning, in Madrid, they will meet at 10:30 a.m. at the headquarters of Unespa (association of insurers), while in the afternoon it will be between 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. – depending on each province -. – at Muface headquarters in Madrid and in their respective provincial delegations.

Likewise, the unions indicated that during this demonstration, the civil servants assisted by Muface will also be accompanied by civil servants from the Mugeju Justice, who are also experiencing complications in their health services after the temporary suspension of this concert.

Thus, the mobilizing trade union organizations will take to the streets to demand a solution “as quickly as possible” to renew the Muface agreement which makes it possible to treat the 1.5 million civil servants covered by this health agreement. “We will use the pressure measures that we deem necessary,” they warned.

This situation comes after the three insurers that until now paid attention to Muface (Adeslas, Asisa and DKV) will not appear in the new tender for the years 2025 and 2026 because the government has proposed an increase in premiums of 17.12% that insurers deemed “insufficient”.
