He celebrated that the Canary Islands will be present at the meeting with Ángel Víctor Torres, Ceuta and PP
The president of the Canary Islands, Fernando Clavijo, announced that he will be present at the meeting convened by the Minister of Territorial Policy, Ángel Víctor Torres, to address with Ceuta and the PP (still awaiting confirmation) the reform of the Article 35 of the Foreigners Act, indicating that the ideal would be to obtain a principle of agreement on migrant minors.
The Canaries will be present at this meeting, “whatever day”, said the regional president, to see what they can get out of it, because the “ideal” would be a principle of agreement transferable to the Canary Islands then direction THE Conference of Presidents scheduled for December 13.
Regarding the migration pact, meeting this Friday, he indicated that the government of the Canary Islands is considering another meeting where all the social agents are located, in this case through the President’s Advisory Council, so that together with the political forces a post from the Canary Islands can be transferred on December 13.
He explained that he was in communication with Minister Ángel Víctor Torres, who, throughout the day on Saturday, will send him the letter which he sent to the European institutions to request help from the Spanish government.
