We would like to say goodbye to you. ” With this brief message, the Red Revolver was full, as the melanos of the first vinyl discs and subsequently compact disks knew, although its official name was revolving discs.
The physical store was occupied by one of the corners on Tallers Street, for sure at that time the very musical of the city, since it began to concentrate various stores in this sector: Castelló albums, impact strikes and revolver notes. The first two enterprises were more veterans, but upon the arrival of RECS Revolver quickly perceived popularity among lovers of the most rocker genres.
Unfortunately, the crisis in the sector for the revolution of digital music and unauthorized downloads on P2P platforms, which sharply reduced the sales of vinyl and CD, which led to many music stores. The disk revolver resisted, despite the fact that in 1998 he suffered the first crisis in which one of the partners, Karl Paskual, left the store and founded a completely segregated new, known as Revolver Records, and this follows his journey.
Both stores, next to the remaining 52, which remain in Catalonia, received November last year for the PhonoGram Award, that the Association of products of the I musical editors of Catalonia.
