The former mayor and leader of Bcomú in the Barcelona City Council, Ada Colau, has announced that she will leave the Barcelona City Council at the end of October and then the co-direction of the Comuns, according to the note addressed this Sunday to the activists and collected by Europa Press.
This is what Crític claims, a media outlet according to which Colau does not rule out returning to politics in the next municipal elections so that his party can recover the Barcelona City Hall.
In her note, Colau specifies that she will cease to be a councillor at the end of October and that she will not stand for re-election as coordinator of the Assembly of Catalunya en Comú in November (Jéssica Albiach and Candela López are also) and that she will increase her work in the party’s “think tank”, Fundació Sentit Comú.
