Comic Book Illustrator John Cassaday Dies at 52

The world of comics is in mourning. The artist John Cassaday died at 52 years oldas confirmed by his relatives early Tuesday. The winner of Eisner Award (a renowned award in the comic book industry that is considered an Oscar in the aforementioned field) has brought to life huge modern classics such as Planetary, Captain America, Astonishing X-Men and Star Wars in 2015 for Marvel Comics.

Cassaday has worked as a storyteller and illustrator in recent years, and was a member of the Society of Illustrators and the Directors Guild of America.

Next to Joss Whedon created SWORD in 2004, a division responsible for the defense of the planet, to Amazing X-Men #6. Also at Hisako Ichikia Japanese mutant, in issue 4 of the third volume of Amazing X-Men published by Marvel in October 2004. Known as Armor, this superheroine was one of the students of the Xavier Institute led by Professor .

Social networks began to say goodbye to the artist, remembering each of his works.
