A series of explosions involving wireless communications devices have occurred in Lebanon, causing significant damage and numerous fires. The explosions in the south of the country caused fires in 60 houses and shops, 15 vehicles, dozens of motorcycles and damaged two fingerprint machines, according to a statement from Lebanon’s civil defense.
UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres has expressed concern about the situation and stressed the inadmissibility of using civilian means to carry out military operations.
Additionally, Al-Hadat reported explosions at an Iran-backed militia center in Mosul, Iraq, that occurred simultaneously with incidents in Lebanon, potentially indicating possible coordination against Hezbollah.
