British and French law enforcement agencies have launched a joint anti-corruption investigation against the defense company “Thales”, which supplies military products to Ukraine.
Oku.Az According to TASS, this is stated in information from Great Britain’s Serious Fraud Office (SFO).
The Paris-based company is suspected of corruption, including bribery.
The subsidiary “Thales UK” has 16 factories in Great Britain with more than 7,000 employees. The company manufactures Martlet multipurpose missiles and Starstreak man-portable anti-aircraft missile systems supplied by the UK government to Ukraine at a plant in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
