Under the organization of the Equestrian Federation of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ARAF) competitions were held in connection with the republican draft horse championship and the closing of the racing season.
Oku.Az reports that local horses born in different regions of Azerbaijan competed in the championship in 7 different categories and distances.
In the competition held at the Bina Equestrian Center, a total of 12 trophies were competed for, four of which were Karabakh, Dilbaz and English horse races, and eight of which were blanket horse races.
Races were organized at distances of 1,200, 1,400, 1,600, 1,800, 2,000, 2,400 and 3,200 meters between males, females and foals, as well as between horses and fillies separately.
According to the results of the races:
1. Blanket race between horses under 3 years old at a distance of 1,200 meters: Isfandiyar Ibrahimov, representative of Ganja with a horse nicknamed “Zuljanah”;
2. General race between horses up to 3 years old at a distance of 1,400 meters: Kamran Sharifov, representative of the city of Baku, Mahammadi settlement, with a horse nicknamed “Eagle”;
3. 1,600-meter race between horses over 6 years old: Mahir Hasanov, representative of the Mashtaga settlement of the city of Baku, with a horse nicknamed “Duldul”;
4. General race between horses over 6 years old at a distance of 1,800 meters – Khalil Allahverdiyev, representative of Ganja with a horse nicknamed “Halko”;
5. 2,000 meter race between horses over 5 years old: the representative of the city of Ganja, Ali Mammadov, with a horse nicknamed “Sultan”;
6. General race between horses over 5 years old at a distance of 2,400 meters – Khalil Allahverdiyev, representative of Ganja with a horse nicknamed “Koma”;
7. Blanket race between horses over 4 years old at a distance of 3200 meters: Khalil Allahverdiyev, representative of Ganja with a horse nicknamed “10 – 100”;
8. According to the results of the last race between manta horses, which won at the distance of 1,800 meters, the republican blanket horse champion Khalil Allahverdiyev, a representative of the city of Ganja, won with the horse nicknamed “Kamo”.
Today, along with the blanket horse championship, competitions were held in connection with the closing of the racing season.
According to the results of the competitions:
1. Horse race between Dilbaz horses over 3 years old at a distance of 1,600 meters – Hilal Nazarov with the horse nicknamed “King of Tunar”;
2. Racing competition between Karabakh horses over 3 years old at a distance of 1,600 meters: Azer Aliyev with a horse nicknamed “Kainat”;
3. 1,600-meter race between 3-year-old English horses: Azer Aliyev with a horse nicknamed “Mighty Prince”;
4. At a distance of 1,400 meters, horse race between English horses over 4 years old: Hilal Nazarov won with a horse nicknamed “Bahr”.
At the end of the competitions, which took place with the participation of Karabakh, Dilbaz, English and manta horses, the winners received diplomas, cups and various prizes, and commemorative photographs were taken.
