The Testing and Training Center is operated by the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency (AYNA). The center, which covers a total area of 6 hectares, has built special roads that meet international standards for practical training. Here you can learn to drive your own car. At the same time, the center provides drivers with practical and theoretical training.
“Every time they read a different price”
According to a complaint received by Bizim.media about the Testing and Training Center, those who want to learn to drive in that area with their own car without an instructor are told a different price each time. The complainant claims that this price amounts to 150 manats. Recently, it is said that drivers who come to the center are asked to pay 120 manats.
But isn’t there a fixed price at the Testing and Training Center?
Tural Orujov, press secretary of Azerbaijan’s Land Transport Agency, said that one hour of weekly training on a private car costs 40 manats, and one hour on weekends costs 50 manats. Training packages are also provided to applicants according to their wishes.
Prices are as follows:
Training packages:
5 lessons – 199 manat, 10 lessons – 349 manat.
Training with instructor in private car:
on weekdays: 50 manats per hour;
weekend: 60 AZN per hour.
Drift:
on weekdays: 100 manats per hour;
weekend: 120 manat per hour.
Individual training in safe driving:
250 manats per person.
As a group:
180 manat per person (minimum 8 people).
Safe driving training (group):
150 manats per person.
Filming (advertising):
weekdays: 150 manat per hour;
weekend: 180 manat per hour.
AYNA also reported that due to COP29, training sessions are being held intermittently in relation to the increased workload of the Testing and Training Centre.
