One of the important topics discussed in the panel was the proposal to create a “smart” transportation laboratory in Azerbaijan implemented by the Israel Aerospace Industries corporation in Israel and based on the “CyITS” (Cyber ​​Intelligent) initiative. Transportation System ) center. Thus, “CyITS” is an advanced research and testing center that provides cybersecurity in intelligent transportation networks. Adapting the concept of such a center to Azerbaijan’s needs will help strengthen the country’s transportation infrastructure and develop its cyber resilience. Within the framework of this initiative, the use of the Israeli corporation’s technologies will be coordinated through a single Innovation Center. This will create ample opportunities to support sustainable development, opening new jobs and research centres.
