THE Municipal Urban Planning Management (GMU) of Cordoba City Hall opened the door for the expansion of joint management areas for the exercise 2025“if conflicts are detected throughout the year in the use of public spaces with terraces and require a more detailed analysis of the distribution and distribution of nightstands between the different establishments to be resolved”.
THE Joint management areas These are those in which particular criteria govern, generally more rigid than in the rest of the city, because they have a greater density of terraces or because there are specific circumstances that advise it.
The areas
Currently, the joint planning areas are located in the following streets: Plaza de las TendonsCruz Conde, the historian Díaz del Moral, Morería, Conde de Cárdenas, María Cristina, García Lovera, Victoriano Rivera-La Plata-Mármol de Bañuelos, Capitulares, Diario de Córdoba, Claudio Marcelo and San Fernando.
In the old area, the Corredera Square, San MiguelPastors, San Ignacio de Loyola, Plaza del Escudo, Córdoba de Veracruz, San Nicolás, La Trinidad.
To these areas are added Gran Capitán, Tower of the TejaresPlaza Flor del Olivo, Liberty Avenue, Al-Nasir Avenue, Group of Brotherhoods, Ronda de Isasa, Walk along the river, Enrique Romero de Torres, Plaza Cardenal Salazar, Plaza Juda Levi-Manríquez and Almodovar Gate.

License deadlines
The City Hall indicates in the press release that, as provided for in article 2 of the Municipal Ordinance of Veladores, the following deadlines are set: from October 1 to December 31 of this year, establishments that have already obtained a license this year or an extension of the previous year and intends to occupy the public domain throughout the year 2025, with characteristics identical in all its aspects to the previous year (article 26.3 of the Veladores Municipal Ordinance).
During the same period, establishments which did not obtain authorization in 2024 or that they have succeeded but are considering requesting an occupation other than that authorized and intend to occupy the public domain throughout the year.
On the other hand, establishments located in common planning areas (i.e. those which are subject to more rigid installation and table criteria due to their concentration) and which plan to occupy the public domain , regardless of the period in which the terrace is intended to be installed (annual or seasonal), they will also have until December 31.
The second deadline set by the municipal council is from January 1 to February 28, 2025. During this period, establishments located outside of joint management zones and applying for a seasonal permit must submit their application (from April 1 to October 31).
