Corella’s festive scarf arrives in Dublin at European cyclists’ meeting

The traditional Red Corella scarfsymbol of the festivities of the Navarrese city, traveled to Dublinwhere he was received by the Mayor of the city, James Geoghegan.

This gesture took place as part of the fifth meeting of the Erasmus+ project”Generations cycling for inclusion and climate action», in which they participated Corella Bikers. The initiative, which aims to promote social inclusion and climate actionallowed the Navarrese representatives to take with them part of the culture of their land.

The meeting brought together many cyclists and participants from different European countries, all united by the common goal of promoting the use of bicycles as an ecological and sustainable means of transport.

The delivery of the handkerchief in the Dublin City Council highlighted the intercultural dimension of the day. In addition, it was a special moment for the Corella participants, who were able to share this Navarrese symbol with their Irish counterparts.

This Erasmus+ project promotes international collaboration and the exchange of ideas on sustainable mobilityinvolving different generations in commitment to the environment and social inclusion.
