Court authorizes Judge Peinado to investigate whether Begoña Gómez appropriated Complutense software

THE Provincial Court of Madrid authorized Judge Juan Carlos Peinado to investigate whether Begoña Gómez, wife of Pedro Sánchez, had appropriated a software from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM), a center where he co-directed a chair.

This is indicated in a document dated September 9, to which EL ESPAÑOL had access. In said resolution, the magistrates of the third section declare that “there is a link” between the facts investigated by Judge Peinado and those reported in a complaint accusing Begoña Gómez of having appropriated a computer program from the UCM, through a company he owns and which bears the same name as the master’s degree awarded to the chair he directed at the Complutense.
