He Court of First Instance and Investigation number 3 of Sagunt (Valencia) has opened a preliminary investigation procedure to determine possible responsibilities in the accident recorded in the Valencian city of Benifairó de les Valls which ended with three dead and four injured.
As stated Europe Presssources of High Court of Justice of the Valencian Community (TSJCV) They reported that this court in Sagunt opened the procedure because it was on duty at the time of the accident.
The objective of the research initiated is clarify the facts and determine if possible criminal responsibilities following the accident which occurred in an orchard area of the municipality.
The accident happened around 4pm this Monday in Benifairó de les Valls and, as a result, three people lost their lives and four others were injured.
The accident was caused by a truck which suffered brake problems, collided with two vans and crushed several people working in an orchard in the city.
Regarding the injured, it is four men between 18 and 54 years old age. Three of them remain hospitalized while one of them, a 45 year old man who was transferred to La Fe hospital in Valencia, has already been discharged, according to health sources.
