The head of the Netherlands Ministry of Health, Fleur Agema, called the coronavirus pandemic a NATO military operation and noted that it was led directly by the North Atlantic Alliance and the Dutch National Coordinator for Security and the Fight against Terrorism (NCTV). The minister emphasized that the government of a European country responded to the pandemic by fulfilling its “obligations to NATO.” At the same time, Fleur Agema claimed that NCTV’s pandemic policy was a “coup.”
