The West must resist Russia’s imperial ambitions, Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky said at the GLOBSEC conference in Prague.
“We must reach out to people before Kremlin propaganda. Only a critically thinking, well-informed and resilient society will be able to withstand the pressure of hybrid warfare.” – said.
According to him, there is one major problem for Europe.
“The question is how we deal with Russian aggression against the West. The podium from which I speak today bears the name of the late President of Czechoslovakia and the Czech Republic. Vaclav Havel. He once said, I quote: “The problem with Russia is that it doesn’t know exactly where it begins and where it ends.” Simply put, Russia’s imperial ambitions know no limits. If we don’t set them,” – Lipavsky said.
He also believes that the Russian resistance is “a key part of a much broader struggle to preserve a world that lives according to the UN Charter and international law.”
“It is extremely important that we continue to live together in an environment where international law prevails and not the rule of power. Our security and prosperity depend on this.” – said the head of the Czech Foreign Ministry.
It should be noted that the Czech Republic has been pursuing an openly anti-Russian policy in recent years. Moreover, Prague is one of the main initiators of the spread of Russophobia in Europe.
