Prices in the rental housing market in the capital have begun to rise.
According to Xezerxeber.az, the reason is that there is very little time left until COP29. Real estate agents took advantage of the arrival of thousands of visitors to the city and raised the prices of houses for daily rent.
Ramil Gasimzadeh, a real estate expert, said real estate agents excessively inflated prices to attract tourists. There are even those who rent their houses for dollars a day.
The expert affirms that tourists who cannot find accommodation in a hotel prefer houses in the city center.
He also said that it is impossible to control the increase since the price is regulated by the market. This increase will cover a very short period i.e. 10 to 15 days. At the end of November rental prices will drop again.
