La Dana had a particular impact in the province of Cádiz this Thursday. The heavy rains caused the flooding of the Guadalete River until reaching a limit situation of overflow risk which forced the Junta de Andalucía to activate the emergency plan for flood risk in its operational situation 1.
The system coordinated by the Ministry of the Presidency agreed at the end of the afternoon the expulsion of families from the neighborhoods of Las Pachecas, El Portal, La Corta and La Greduela whose houses are closest to the river. However, this is a preventive measure while awaiting the evolution of the Guadalete River in the coming hours.
