Idol band DAY6 released some lyrics for the title track ‘Melting Down’, which contains healing energy.
DAY6 will be releasing a new mini album ‘Band Aid’ on September 2 and making their comeback. JYP Entertainment released a teaser film for the song on their official SNS channel on August 21, previewing some of the eight songs included in this album with the members’ instrumental performances, and then unveiled a production teaser on the 23rd.
The video captures DAY6 in preparation for the new album, from song previews to music videos, covers, concept films, and title track recordings, arousing curiosity about the various contents that will be released in the future. In particular, along with the band’s strong sound of the new song ‘Melting Down’, lyrics with delicate emotions such as “the moment that was saved like a miracle” were revealed, raising expectations for the full song.
The album ‘Band Aid’, which was completed by adding ‘Band’, meaning rock group, and ‘Aid’, meaning help, includes the title track ‘Melting Down’, ‘Monster’, ‘She Laughed’, ‘Mangame’, and ‘Help Me’. A total of 8 songs are included, including ‘Rock&Roll’, ‘COUNTER’, ‘I’m Fine’, and ‘Still Living There’. The members’ names appear on all the song credits, and composer Hong Ji-sang joins the group, heralding the birth of a masterpiece.
Following their comeback activities, DAY6 will be holding a new world tour ‘DAY6 3RD WORLD TOUR’ at Inspire Arena in Incheon from September 20 to 22.
DAY6’s ninth mini album ‘Band Aid’ and title track ‘Melting Down,’ beloved as ‘a band that brings convenience in everyday life,’ will be officially released on September 2 at 6 p.m.
