Moscow expects an international arbitration to rule on its dispute with Ukraine over rights in the Black Sea, the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait by the end of this year or early next year, the head of the Russian delegation to the hearing in The Hague, Special Ambassador of the Russian Foreign Ministry Gennady Kuzmin, told reporters.
According to him, this case is being examined on its merits.
“After the hearing, we expect a final decision at the end of this year or early next year. Because it is a very important matter. There is a huge amount of material there, so the arbitrators will need time to study and analyse everything.” — he noted, TASS reports.
