Death of Sinwar: a call was made in Germany

Germany said the death of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar should be an important step toward a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the release of all remaining hostages.

This was reported by The Times Of Israel.

Representatives of the German government emphasized that this event could help resolve the conflict and create conditions for the delivery of humanitarian aid to the region.

German Foreign Minister Annalena Bärbock, discussing the situation with her American counterpart, noted that this moment could be a turning point in the process of achieving a ceasefire and the release of hostages, as well as in the provision of additional humanitarian support to Gaza.

A representative of the German Foreign Ministry confirmed this position at a press conference and added that Germany hopes to develop dialogue in this direction.

At the same time, the German government declined to comment on Sinwar’s possible successor as Hamas leader, but stressed the importance of a prompt cessation of hostilities and resolution of humanitarian issues.

Previously, Cursor wrote about who could succeed Sinwar as leader of Hamas.

US intelligence sources also weighed in on whether the new Hamas terrorist leader would be willing to negotiate.

Kursor also wrote that the Kremlin is “concerned” about the liquidation of Sinvar.

Putin’s spokesman also said a “humanitarian catastrophe” is occurring in Gaza and Lebanon.
