DECISION on the person who took the women to Iran and Bahrain

The hearing on the appeal against the sentence of Sevda Bayramova, accused of human trafficking, has ended at the Baku Court of Appeal.

Pravda.az reports that the decision was announced at the trial presided over by Judge Farid Ayyubov.

According to the decision, Sevda Bayramova’s complaint was not satisfied.

Sevda Bayramova was sentenced to 8 years and 3 months in prison by the Baku Court for Serious Crimes.

According to the indictment, sections 144-1.2.1, 144-1.2.2 and 144-1.2.4-1 (he was charged with articles of human trafficking).

After returning to Baku, women who escaped from her hands complained about Sevda. The victimized women mentioned that they were psychologically traumatized because they were forced into prostitution.
